Tabbouleh – refreshing parsley salad

Lebanese parsley salad

In the hot summer days, there is nothing better than a light, refreshing salad that goes perfectly with grilled meat, fried vegetables, as well as hummus and pita bread. That is why today I would like to share with you a recipe for a traditional Lebanese tabbouleh salad.

Although the internet is dominated by many versions of tabbouleh containing groats, e.g. bulgur or couscous, in my proposal you will only find parsley, mint, shallots, tomatoes and pomegranate. Thanks to this, this salad becomes even more refreshing and light. Its preparation is extremely simple – just chop everything and mix.

So, if you are looking for a fresh, simple and delicious way to serve parsley or an original salad, e.g. for a barbecue, try preparing a tabbouleh salad.
I will be sharing other Mediterranean recipes soon, so stay tuned and get ready for a tasty journey!
