- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (to sprinkle the mold)
Instructions
Cake

When you have added all the sugar, start adding the yolks, one at a time. Let the batter be well mixed before adding another yolk.200 g butter, 300 g sugar, 6 eggs
- When the butter, egg yolks and sugar are well whipped, you can add the sifted flours, baking powder, vanilla extract, lemon juice and zest and grated chocolate. Stir the mass. You can do this with a mixer on low speed or by hand.200 g flour, 1 tbsp starch, 1 tbsp vanilla sugar, 1 lemon, 100 g dark chocolate, 2 tsp baking powder
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Add the beaten egg whites in portions to the rest of the batter and gently combine both.6 eggs
- Put the batter to a buttered and sprinkled with breadcrumbs mold (or lined with baking paper). Bake in an oven heated to 356 °F for about 50 minutes. If you don't know if the cake is ready, stick a skewer in the center of the cake and remove it. If the skewer comes out dry, the cake is baked inside. After removing from the oven, remove the cake from the mold and set aside to cool. The cake removed from the mold will cool down faster, it will stop "baking inside" and the cake will not be dry.1 tsp butter, 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Topping
- Pour 100 ml of milk into a pot and add a chocolate bar. Heat the chocolate over low heat, stirring thoroughly until the chocolate melts and combines with the milk. If you prefer a thinner layer of glaze on your cake, add more milk to the chocolate. If you are afraid that you will burn the chocolate, you can melt it in a water bath or in the microwave.100 g dark chocolate, 100 ml milk
- Pour chocolate topping over the cooled cake. Enjoy!
