Welcome to the coast of Hawaii? Although It is traditionally a Hawaiian dish, my version is more Chinese. Poké bowl – “Poké” refers to the fish cut into pieces , however My bowl contains chicken in teriyaki sauce. There’re also sliced fresh vegetables, which lie on rice and peanut butter sauce.A delicious, healthy and nutritious dish.

Although it seems to be a collection of unremarkable ingredients, their combination will surely surprise your taste buds. Get ready for a journey through a variety of flavors and textures, and as a result you will receive a delicious and colorful meal that will delight you.

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl recipe


  • 150 g rice
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 handful edamame
  • 140 g corn (small can)
  • 200 g marinated zucchini (recipe soon on a blog)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • sesame
  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 2 cm ginger
  • salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp chinese spices
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp potato starch

Peanut sauce

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar


  • Dice the chicken, add chopped ginger and garlic, chinese spices, pepper and starch. Mix and set aside for a few minutes to marinate the chicken.

  • Meanwhile, prepare your favorite vegetables. Peel the carrot and fresh cucumber and cut into slices. Drain the canned corn.

  • Drop the edamame into boiling salted water and cook for 3 minutes. After this time, drain the beans, leave them to cool and then peel.
    1 handful edamame
  • Cook the rice.
    150 g rice
  • Put the marinated chicken in a heated pan with a tablespoon of oil. Fry it until golden. When the chicken is fried, add honey, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. When the sauce thickens, remove the chicken from the heat.

  • Prepare the sauce by mixing the peanut butter, chilli powder, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar together.

  • Put rice in a bowl, pour some peanut sauce on it, put vegetables and meat on top and that's it. Your bowl is ready!
    200 g marinated zucchini
