Gyros Salad
This filling and colorful salad is a must-have at any party that is sure to impress your guests. Everyone has their own version of this recipe. In this post I show how to make a Gyros Salad that is very popular in Poland and what is more – it’s extremely easy and quick to prepare.
Just a few ingredients. Juicy pieces of fried chicken, crispy cucumbers, sweet corn, spicy ketchup and creamy mayonnaise combine to create an incredibly tasty salad. For me it’s a Polish kebab ;). Add red beans and chopped Chinese cabbage and the kebab-salad is ready. This gyros is a real hit that will surely appear on your table!

Polish Gyros Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast
- 130 g red beans
- 4 pickled cucumbers
- 80 g corn
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- ¼ Chinese cabbage
- 2 tbsp gyros spices
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Dice the chicken breast and fry in a pan with gyros seasoning. Then set aside to cool.1 chicken breast, 2 tbsp gyros spices, oil
- Put a layer of chicken on the bottom of the bowl. Cover it with very finely diced pickled cucumber. Then lay out a layer of drained red beans and on top of that lay a layer of corn. On top of the corn put a thin layer of ketchup and on it a thin layer of mayonnaise. Cover everything with chopped Chinese cabbage.
