A malleable sweet almond mass, perfect for layering cakes or preparing marzipan potatoes or other desserts.
Traditional marzipan is made from almonds, but you can make marzipan from other nuts, such as pistachio marzipan or hazelnut marzipan. Just swap the almonds for other nuts.
I used almond flour (i.e. ground almonds) to make the marzipan, which speeds up and makes the work much easier. You can also use whole almonds, of course. Just peel them and grind them in a food processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
